VB SEO Features

I'm considering purchasing VBSEO, with installation for http://www.businessadviceforum.com

What advantages will VBSEO bring, in addition to search engine friendly URL's?
Can I view a features list?
Will VBSEO automatically optimise my forum for all themes installed?
Will VBSEO sort out any duplicate URL issues e.g. http://www.businessadviceforum.com & http://<b>www</b>.businessadviceforu...>index.php</b> & http://businessadviceforum.com & http://businessadviceforum.com/index.php ?
How will it impact my forum archive?
Will existing links to current threads still work, after VBSEO creates SE friendly URL's e.g. if I install VBSEO what will happen if I click a link to http://www.businessadviceforum.com/s...ead.php?t=2344 ?
I understand that VBSEO will not post content to my site, but with the exception of quality content provision will my onsite SEO work be finished once I install VBSEO?
Does VBSEO create a robot txt file?

3 - URLs will be friendly on all themes, but validation is still up to you.

4 - It will sort out www.site.com/ and www.site.com/index.php and there are instructions on how to deal with www and non-www via .htaccess.

5 - I believe the default settings don't change your archive except for friendly URLs but I think it's usually recommended that it be fully disabled if you don't see a lot of traffic from it.

6 - Existing links will be 301 redirected to the new friendly URLs. (I highly recommend you take a good look at the various preset rewrites as well as how you can make your own since once you set it, you should never change them.)

7 - I wouldn't say it would be finished after you install vBSEO, but it is a great starting point. There are many other tweaks you can make to further optimize your site.

8 - No, but depending on how you decide to make your rewrites, it can be a breeze to make a robots.txt file (especially if you eliminate all file extensions from URLs that you want crawled).

Hilragi pretty much answered your questions. vBSEO is much more than just a tool for rewriting URLs. It integrates GA, reduce double content, enables vB to have some powerful features to make your on site SEO even better like the Relevant Replacements, Virtual HTML Headers etc.

For e.g.

Relevant Replacements are basically phrases which contain placeholders. These placeholders will be filled with the content of the site you are viewing like the first 20 words of a thread etc.
Using this RR's will generate topic related content, which is good for your SEO.

All *old URLs* will remain working after enabling vBSEO. These will get redirected to the new URLs (the SEO format you choosed).

Default vBulletin installations have too many disadvantages and needs to be optimized for better SE rankings. vBSEO handles this job. The most important feature of vBSEO is the link consensus which eliminates all duplicate content problems on your site. Of course additionally human readable static urls is important also.

Once vBSEO is installed , all templates are automatically optimized. However some vBSEO features such as Relevant Replacements require manual template edit. On this case you have to manually edit your templates to add RR code.

Force Forum Root as Homepage & Define Homepage Aliases features will allow you to direct all your homepage links to root. Additionally vBSEO .htaccess has a code which will redirect non-www version to www or vice versa. However the second one has to be enabled by the end user.

vBSEO has different Archive rewrite options such as

301 Redirect vB's Archive Thread Pages
Rewrite vB's Archive Thread Pages
Rewrite + 301 Redirect Archive Pages
Keep vB's Archive default settings

You can choose the one that suite your needs.
