URL rewriting & Language ID

Hi,

I have a multilingual website based on vbulletin and for SEO purposes I would like to be able to rewrite URL when someone is using a language ID different from language ID=1

ie : Let's say when someone is using spanish language (ID=3) -> URLS for whole website will be : http://www.mydomain.com/es/files.php

For French -> URLS will be http://www.mydomain.com/fr/files.php

etc, etc ...

Is VbSEO allowing this kind of tweaks ?
If not, Is there something planed about this or similar objectives ?

Maybe SEO professional like you have better ideas on this subject ?

do you mean custom mod links like "files.php?languageID=1" or default vBulletin links showthread.php/forumdisplay.php?
In the first case you can use vBSEO's Custom Rewrite Rules to modify URLs.
The second case is not supported directly by vBSEO (after the first page load vBulletin will move language ID to cookie and it is removed from URL), but it should be possible to do that with custom vB modification I believe.
