    Upgradeability =)

    Ok, I want to buy vbSEO - so you don't have a hard sell, but I need to know how easy it will be if I install it now w/ 3.6.8 and then upgrade to 3.7 how much trouble the upgrade will be with vbSEO? Any details would be appreciated... I'm probably going to buy, just have to decide if I want to now or after 3.7 comes out...

    Also, does vbseo let spiders index each page twice? ex: the re-write url goes to http:/---.com/how-I-love-money/ but the real url is http:/---.com/index.php?control ... will the spiders index both?

    If you install vbseo on your 3.6.8 board, and then upgrade it to vbulletin 3.7.x, then you really do not have to upgrade vbseo at all. The current build is working with vbulletin 3.7.x arleady.

    Also, all the URLs will be rewritten, so you must not worry about being double indexed.

    I would just add that:
    • Our install and upgrade process is very straightforward. We'll provide new versions to match each new release of vBulletin. No template edits are required. It's pretty much a process, of backing up and restoring your settings (using our backup feature), uploading some files and a important a vB plugin.
    • We also offer installation and upgrade service if you would prefer a vBSEO Total Support Team member to do so on your behalf.
    • We absolutely do not allow for duplicate content, or duplicate paths to the same content. All URLs will be rewritten. All old format URLs will be 301 redirected, which is the search engine friendly way of moving content. For more information about link consistency and consensus, please check out this thread.

    Thanks - I have bought the package, and now I understand how easy it will be to upgrade my board with vbseo. i.e. no modifications done by me to any vB files - good stuff
