I'd like to purchase VBSEO, but have questions... Does the script have to be upgraded everytime VB upgrades? And is there a recommended list of programmers that can be hired to install the product?

Hello!
vBSEO should only have to be upgraded if there are major changes in a vBulletin release (like for vBulletin v4.x.x perhaps).
However, upgrading vBSEO is a very quick and painless process, so you should keep updated to the latest version of vBSEO at all times for best results.
The install is a snap, but if you run into problems you can open a support ticket and you will be assisted.

Thanks Keith.
I'm not a programmer, although I'm pretty comfortable with the adminCP and can install simple hacks. I'd prefer an expert to do the VBSEO installation as well as the sitemap generator. Is there an additional charge for the stemap generators?

No, vBSEO Sitemap is a free add-on.
