Question Thinking about purchasing...question about Google and VBSEO

Were thinking of purchasing VBSEO for a clients site.

They already have a Vbulletin forum that is about 4 years old with good rankings on search results for their keywords. They already have like 20,000 active threads.

Google has some of their forum pages already indexed...however, i was wondering if switching everything to VBSEO will cause any problems with the rankings?

Will Google suddenly see all of these new urls and perhaps treat this as spam or something else bad and penalize our clients site?

Any feedback (negative or positive please) you may have please share.

Yes, you can expect rankings and indexed pages to have slight drops initially while the content is reindexed with the new URLs.

The Vbulletin forum is just a subsection of their site (although it obviously has the most pages). Does your reply still hold true?

Anyway to have new content (threads) with new urls and leave the old urls alone with your product?

It will only affect pages within vBulletin, and will affect all URLs (old and new). You will most likely see a decrease in indexed pages because of link consensus as well: Pin the Tail on the SEO Donkey (with Link Consensus)!

This is not possible, As the URL creation is done in real-time.
    All URLs will be changed.

Your old URLs will be 301 Redirected to the new URLs,
so you don't have anything to worry.
