Test script failed...

I'm considering getting vbSEO, but it looks like the server compatibilty test has failed for both Zend and ionCube.

Here's the message I get: The setting of extension_dir in the php.ini file is not a directory or may not exist and run time loading will not be possible. You do not need write permissions on the extension_dir but for run-time loading to work a path from the extensions directory to wherever the Loader is installed must exist.

What must I do to get ionCube to work? I'm currently on a dedicated server by godaddy.

You can contact your host and ask to install either zend or ioncube. They will take care of it. If you have root access you need to edit php.ini and add ioncube loaders location just before any zend extension line.

I do have root access, but I've got prcatically nil experience with SSH. Connecting to the server is about as far as I've ever gotten

I'd appreciate it if you could walk me through this

My host does not provide technical support for matters which I can control- i.e. anything that can be configured thorugh SSH. They'll only help w/ hardware problems, etc.

If you purchase and then create a support ticket for ioncube installation help i'm sure the support team will take care of it immediately

I'm sure they would, but I want to be sure that everything will work before buying vBseo.

You're showing as an owner now, so you should have access to download vBSEO in the Downloads area.
