I opened a thread in pre-sale question than that obviously means I dont have a license!!! I am asking which product suits my need so I can purchase it and the member of staff closes my thread telling me I dont have a license......?????

Sorry about that. We get a ton of spam related to phpbb seo, and that flag probably triggered the response.

When migrating from phpbb to vbulletin, all of your ID's are lost if you've ever deleted even just 1 post or thread, so while you can set up the exact same url formats as before,
hi-all-another-newbie-t927.html
will become
hi-all-another-newbie-t924.html for example, assuming 3 threads have been deleted before 927.

We have a tool to fix this, and it is free to use with vbseo. It will account for the old id's (imported column) and then does a 301 to the correct showthread style url.

You will just need to account for your seo from phpbb in your htaccess rules that will require a slightly different rule set.
