    Some pre-sale questions

Hi! I want to buy vBSEO for my forum. I want to know.

    1. Can I use different, unique domain for my Blog not similar with my forum's domain?
    2. Can I use subdomains in my blog, e.g. username.blogdomain.com?
    3. Can I use vBSEO for my other modes, such as Arcade, Gallery etc?
    4. Is the 149 USD of vBSEO for a lifetime license and what about updates?

    Thanks

    Hi Hayk,

    1) vBSEO relies on the Forum URL defined in vBulletin AdminCP. As this only allows one domain, you might have difficulty. Also, as each vBulletin Blog is attached to a license, and each license can only be attached to a single domain, you might run into issue with vBulletin's licensing rules.

    2) See 1.

    3) vBSEO is compatible with most modifications to vB out-of-the-box, but if you have issues with any modification, you can open a Support Ticket or post a thread and we will do our best to get it working.

    4) Your vBSEO license is indeed a lifetime license, with access to the Support System and Upgrades requiring a yearly renewal (currently $35/year).

There's no problem with license because it will be just parked domain for vBBlog and primary domain of blogs will remain the same with forum domain, it is common practice for vBulletin forums. I want to know is it possible technically, i.e. in vBSEO.

To clarify, when you say 'different, unique domain' do you mean xxx.com as opposed to yyy.com? Or yyy.xxx.com as opposed to xxx.com?

    I understand now.

vBSEO is licensed for one unique domain only, and rewrites URLs dependant on the vBulletin Forum URL defined in AdminCP.

To have your blog URLs use the vbblogger.com URLs you would need to have your Forum URL defined in the AdminCP as vbblogger.com.

And what about parked domains? E.g. i have a parked domain bestvbulletin.com, when I will open my forum with this URL, vBSEO will not work?

vBSEO will work for the domain it is licensed to.

If you have multiple domains pointing at the same content, that is something that is viewed by the Search Engines as Duplicate Content, and not something we suggest or support.
