Is it right for me? Thinking about it w/vb3.5.4 + photopostpro

    Hello all!

I might be the next customer soon but I want to give a little backstory on my website and see what ya'll think.

I run bugphotography.net - a community dedicated to insect (macro) photography with a free gallery that runs PhotoPost Pro (which, by the way - i wish VBSeo would do a mod for them *hint hint hint hint*!!!). Not a lot of Bug communitities out there, and not a lot of wildlife communities period (at least that run vbulletin).

I think Vbseo will help me a lot . I'm only a week old, still waiting to be listed by google and other SE's. I can invision that VbSEo ill bring me people looking for macro photography, bugs, insects, insect photos, bug photos, you name it! that's a given and that's what i'm looking to attract.

Now the only cause for concern I have is compatibility with 3.5.4. Also, i run PhotoPost Pro i hope VBSeo doesn't mess with that. PP PRo is integrated with my VB, where PP Pro uses the VB database just to recogize users (so they dont have to login to the forums AND gallery) and to use the VB style/layout. the gallery has it's own prefixes in the vb database.

Will VBSeo affect PhotoPost Pro ? Does anyone have experience with this? Photopost Pro uses it's own file naming system so there's no integration that way, they are both seperate when it comes to how they work.

The only other thing i fear is all the talk about page rankings decreasing because of the new vb 3.5.4 or for other reasons.

I guess i'm looking to see if the niche i am in (insect nature macro photography ) with my community will gain great exposure on the net so i dont have to keep going to nature/photography websites to advertise to get it started and if vbseo will mess up my forums/gallery at all?

any other info you can provide i would be gretly appreciated

    thanks!
    Paul

I can answer part of your query: Yes, vBSEO will work fine with vBulletin 3.5.x and PhotoPost.

Also, make sure you also install the free vBSEO Sitemap generator to jump-start Google and Yahoo indexing your site.
