Reporting an illegal VB SEO powered forum

I was browsing a forum and wondered why was it so well SEO'ed and without vbseo.

the board is ElForro - Powered by vBulletin
The host is ELSERVER.COM :: Alojamiento de Sitios Web


IF you go to http://www.elforro.com.ar/vbseocp.php it shows the vbseo Control Panel login screen.

Has this site been given a especial verison of vbseo without branding free option?

Its not as easy as telling them to stop using it. Obviously their server looks like it is located overseas. Lots of red tape to go through

Mr Muriente can read this, but for non spanish speakers this says, any copyrighter material hold by this company clients, will resolve into the suspension of the account and possibly taking legal actions.

Argentina is a 3rd world country but has a lot of updated laws about internet and piracy.

Hmm, Would it be possable to put a call home function into the sofware? If the key is not registered then the sofware will not work. Just a big If statement.

I happened to get a Google Alert for this post.

We will be intimating our customer to get a valid license within the next few days or else have their account suspended.

i think its better to deal with piracy reports the jelsoft's way,like not allowing the urls of the reported sites and never disclosing the outcome for all the good reasons.

I agree. I believe we will handle this completely different from now on.
