    Relative URLs

VB4 has changed the URL structure for the forum I think. Previously it used relative URLs on my forum so if I logged in through:
    www.hostingname.com/domainname/forum

then all links to threads etc. would show as starting with www.hostingname.com/domainname/forum/forum.php etc.

but if I accessed from the domain name then the URLS would be
    www.domainname.com/forum/forum.php etc.

A number of my members cannot access the site from the domain name and had previously used the relative URLs to navigate the site.

I understand from a question I asked on vb.com that VB4 had changed how these URLs work.

Is that something that can be changed with vbseo so that the site can be accessed from both links and if so is it straightforward?

    Thanks

vbseo requires 1 url to work. All pages are 'base href' 'ed to the main .com. If firewalls, etc are blocking people from accessing, vbseo will not be able to help in that regard.

Ok thanks Brian. Just to make sure so: it's all base href ed to the main.com and not to the link the site is accessed from? Thanks for the quick response. Looks a great product but it doesn't solve my main problem. I may be back if I can figure out how to bypass that.

    if your site is vbseo.com
vbseo.com is the only url that will work. http://ip/~account/ style access and other methods like it will not work (it will, but it will just redirect to vbseo.com)
