Question Ready to add vbseo to 4.0.3 - tips for BEFORE installation?

as the title says, I'm ready to add vbseo to to a vb4.0.3 site. other than a complete backup before installation, what steps should I take? are their features on vb itself that should be changed (ie: sitemap generator)?

basically I'm looking for a a "pre-installation checklist" to make sure that I perform the installation using the best possible protocol.

also, does the vbseo software "walk you through" the installation or do you manually have to adjust every setting?

thanks in advance & I'm looking forward to working with everyone here.

    Hello,

The only step you should make is to turn off the vb4 built in sitemap tool. And of course, a backup never hurts

Importing the vbseo product file will set all vb4 seo features to the correct setting for vbseo to function correctly. Then, you can install the vbseo sitemap product as well.

vbseo comes with 'defaults' pre-selected out of the box, so you don't HAVE to adjust anything if you don't want to, but allows you to change nearly anything you want if you do.
