You can change the domain as long as it meets the requirements of our EULA vBSEO - End User License Agreement (EULA)
Updates are free for a year. After that a renewal is 35 dollars

does anyone know if GoDaddys deluxe hosting support a vb forum? or would i have to get a separate vb hosting provider?

I know that we have some godaddy customers. Not sure on what there plan is. Please note that godaddy has a wierd configuration with there hosting where it takes a few minutes for it to recognize your .htaccess file.
