Questions before purchasing...

First, I'd like to start off by saying I'm new to SEO. I have some questions before purchasing.

Price: Do I have to pay after a year so I can download updates, or is it just a onetime fee only?. If something were to happen, and I had to sell my website, would I be able to transfer the license over to the new owner? (This will probably never happen, but better safe then sorry I guess)

I use a custom theme, I've had a few hacks not work because of it, or I had to manually add the code so it would work, would I have the same problem with vbSEO?.

Will I lose all the links submitted to search engines, if so, approx how long does it take for them to resubmit with the new urls?.

I've been using Sitemap Generator for awhile and love it. Should I uninstall it, then install vbSEO, then reinstall Sitemap Generator?.

My website is pretty small (568 threads, 3,715 posts, 487 members) will this help boost traffic?, or would vbSEO results be better for larger websites?.

When installing vbSEO, should I install the Zend or IonCube version?.

Does vbSEO come with presettings?.. I took a look at the demo admin panel, and it seems pretty confusing for me anyway .

Whew, I think that's all of them, thanks for taking time to read this, I apologize if some questions are stupid, I prefer to ask alot of questions.

Thanks again!.

vBSEO license is valid for your whole life. However as same as vBulletin if you want to download updated after 1 year you'll pay 35$

vBSEO has all template edits done automatically and have no problem with any custom style.

You will loose your links in search engines but you'll regain yuor links quicker and you will have way more pages indexed

Nop you don't need to uninstall and install sitemap generator. You can install vBSEO in 2 minutes and get ready to go.

As you are on the beginning vBSEO will really help your board but you must be aware that if the board activity is slow there is nothing vBSEO can do expect bringing traffic from search engines.

You shall download test script from User Panel - Downloads and check which version works for you and download the suitable version.

vBSEO can with pre settings that has been prepared by vBSEO team.

We are glad to help you Fork

Lizard, thanks for replying.

I ran the test script and the server supports both Zend & IonCube, which is recommended?

If I were to sell my site, would I be able to transfer the vBSEO license to the new owner?.

Thanks.

On perfonmance base there is nothing different with ioncube and zend but since your server has zend already installed you shall go with zend.

If you sell your site to a new owner you can create a support ticket and discuss ask your license transfered to the new owner.

Take Care ,
