Hi ,

i want to buy Vbseo but i need to know about somethings :

1 - i heard that all links would be change ( php to html ) , what would be happen to the old Indexed links in Search Engines or Other sites . they Still can visit the Site via Those links ?!!

i got this answer before :

2 - no problem would be happen for Move , Merge and ..... in forum ? i dunno where i saw this that u when ur links would be change , for move or other mods job , Sometimes u need to change the URL manually then continue , otherwise u will get error !!!!!!!!!!! is it true ?!!!!!

3 - i'm using "vBSEO Google/Yahoo Sitemap Generator" plugin in my forum . after using Vbseo , do i still need this plugin too ?

Certainly. If I can recall, there is an option in your vB ACP option, that allows you to allow search engines to still visit from your old urls. Once you are sure all of your urls have been changed and indexed, you can turn it off.

No, it isn't true. As long as you have mod_rewrite enabled on your server, then you will be fine.

There is a site map that is available for free with vBSEO.

Thanks for reply , but still i have problem with my first question !

what about the Sites that they have our old links ?

It doesn't matter if other sites have your old links.
Whenever somebody would visit that old URL, he would get redirected to the new SEO'ed URL.

Try to visit this OLD URL : http://www.vbseo.com/showthread.php?t=21129
It will redirect you to the new URL automatically.

1. We cannot physically change URLs that are listed on other sites, of course, but when they are encountered the search engines will be safely redirected, as will human visitors.

2. We handle moves automatically with built in 301s directions (again, the search engine safe way to update).

3. The sitemap plugin is still required. It works with vBSEO.
