I want to buy vbseo today and have you install it.

How much extra is it to get you to fix photopost and reviewpost to work with vbseo at the time you install vbseo on my forums?


Part of my forums are private support forums by subscription only how will that effect vbseo?

I PM’ed Ace already with the above questions but thought I would post them here also.

i don't think vbseo currently works with photopost, although others could correct me if i'm wrong there.

vbseo will do seo urls for your private forums, but they won't be submitted if you use the sitemap vb plugin, for example. so while you'll get the nice urls, it shouldn't create any sort of issue with indexing stuff that shouldn't be indexed.

fixing photopost is easier said than done. Vbseo can re-write them, no problem with CRR (custom re-write rules), but they won't have link concensous. I can't speak for vbseo, but i'm pretty sure they aren't going to do this for you, regardless of the fee.

As far as private forums go... Search engines are guests. If guests can't access it, neither can google, and thus you won't be indexed on those sections.

Photopost is supported, as Brian suggested, using our CRRs. Further support may be included in a future version of vBSEO.

I would not consider this a limiting factor given the much greater benefits of having vBSEO on your forum, and I do advise you to proceed with your vBSEO installation.

If you request it during installation, staff will put the Photopost CRRs in place for you.
