Questions before buying

Hi,

I recently stumbled across vBSEO while browsing VBulletin.org and I am very interested in purchasing vBSEO...however, I have some questions first.

First of all, how do I found out what my current page rank is and how many pages I currently have indexed. I have setup a Google Sitemaps account, but do not see any specific stats reguarding those 2 areas. Unfortunately I do not have a Analytics account (need invitation).

I did do a "SE Saturation Test" on marketleap.com. Google showed: 119,000 (pages indexed I assume). That sounds pretty decent.
I also show a page ranking of 2 & 3 according to SEO tools.

So that being said, I'm unsure of how much benefit I will recieve with vBSEO. I have a board with about 5,000 members that is growing at a pretty quick pace. According to third party stats, on average I recieve about 400 hits from search engines each day, about 65% of which come from Yahoo and about 30% from google. Our forum content reguards Jeeps, Tech Discussion, Offroading, etc...so there is alot of "competition" out there for pagerank...which may mean that there is more opportunity for vBSEO to do some good...sound about right?

Lastly, I know very little about SEO and I am somewhat concerned that I may misconfigure the software and do more harm then good Is it a fairly straight forward setup?


Any comments would be appreciated. I am currently on the fence and leaning towards giving vBSEO a shot...but I need that extra nudge haha
