Questions before buying.

Some questions before I buy.

My database is a little over 1 Gig (800,000 threads/posts - only 6000 indexed) and I am hosted at Hostgator with a shared baby plan. My forum is full of articles and listings, and user participation is and will remain closed until I make some dough. Now:

1. Will it be ok to run vBulletin with Vbseo under such a plan? If not, what do you recommend?
2. What are the server/system requirements for Vbseo?

Post counts are not usually the deciding factor of if your host is good enough or not--- it's traffic. 10mil posts with 2 hits a day can run on just about any $5 plan out there. 2,000 posts with 10mil visits a day would crash even top of the line dedicated servers and would need a cluster, etc.

Knowing host gator, they are probably going to shut you down for using too much cpu. I'd suggest a migration to a more reputable place.

vbseo has no special system requirements over vbuletin itself, other than the server must have mod_rewrite (or equivalent on non-apache boxes) installed and working on it, and should not be under heavy load, as vbseo does add a little footprint to it (i personally saw a .2 load increase)
