    Question

Which forums allow vBSEO and vBulletin but at a low cost? I really can't afford another couple hundred A MONTH for a VPS.

I've used HostGator but apparently only VPS's allow vBSEO.

So I would like to know what I should do.

My process - help me with it

1.) I'm a new site (just bought vBulletin) with 0 members.
2.) I'm deciding to by vBSEO.
3.) Which Host should I use while growing (probaly I should have around 500-2,000 members registered in a month, 1-10 members viewing the forum at the same time and probaly up to a 100 in total a day, which host is recommended to not lag and is affordable monthly).
4.) After I start getting REALLY popular and at least range around 50-150$ from donations and adsense, which host should I switch to next which is cheap and reliable.

Also, how can I actually earn enough to support a 100$+ or more VPS? Really nice if you could tell me what I can do to earn that. (I don't have a job, im only a teen!!!)

Is that good though? ASmallOrange hosting, it doesn't seem that good even though I have never reached that status -

1-75 posts a day, never/rarely more than 25 online with default cookie timeout.
    Shared hosting.
Wait so If it gets more then 25 people it'll crash? And 1-75 posts is so little, I think at least 5 active members can make more than that combined. And which would be a good stat for that?

1 GB Space, 25 GB Bandwidth enough?

That is something that you would ask the hosting company about.

The numbers i used in the thread are to be considered AVERAGE users online where the system will perform 100%.

posts per day vary greatly by niche. some sites have 2 members that post 75 times a day each. Others have 200 users browsing to make 2 posts.

    Again, consider it an average.

It will surely hold quick bursts of more than 25 members online, but not constantly. If you're serving more than that constantly, the hardware will become a bottle neck.

1gb of space will hold a LOT of info.
The forum uses about 5MB for the software, and then you have 995mb left for posts and data. Easily 150,000 posts+

bandwidth will vary drastically as well, based on your theme, and if you have heavy attachment usage.

My million post forum uses 5gb a day, so by average, a 250,000 post board will fit in 25gb of transfer a month.
But, its not posts that make the bandwidth-- it's useage. If you get on the front page of digg for a post, you could break that in an hour.
