    Problem when installing Zend Optimizer

Before purchasing vbseo I would first install the Zend Optimizer, because vbseo won't work without it.
I uploaded the test script on my server and saw that neither Zend Optimizer nor Ioncube is installed.
I downloaded the tar.gz archive from the Zend site and uploaded it on my linux server.(my forum is on a subdomain like www.sub.domain.com)
After that I logged in shell and tried to untar the archive like it's explained in the knowledgebase on the zend site: ( Zend - Support Center - Knowledge Base )

    tar zxvf[ZendOptimizer-3.3.0-linux-glibc23-x86_64.tar.gz]

    But it doesn't work.
    I get the following error:

tar: Old option `f' requires an argument.
Try `tar --help' or `tar --usage' for more information.

Do you have an idea why I can't untar the archive?

This time I tried it with tar -zxvf ZendOptimizer-3.3.0-linux-glibc23-x86_64.tar.gz, but it doesn't work, too.
    I got the following error:

Cannot open: No such file or directory
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now
    tar: Child returned status 2
tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors

You shall browse to the directory you downloaded Zend.

You can find it by : whereis ZendOptimizer-3.3.0-linux-glibc23-x86_64.tar.gz or locate ZendOptimizer-3.3.0-linux-glibc23-x86_64.tar.gz

    That method doesn't work.

I still haven't found a way to install the Zend Optimizer.
A friend of mine said that I should first use gunzip -zxvf ZendOptimizer-3.3.0-linux-glibc23-x86_64.tar.gz and then tar -zxvf ZendOptimizer-3.3.0-linux-glibc23-x86_64.tar.
When I use this I get the error that "z" ist not allowed.
I'm very confused and don't know what command I should use.
I hope you can help me. (I have moved my forum from the subdomain to a normal domain like www.domain.com)
