Presales question - vbseo for new forum?

I am starting a new forum, just purchased vb CMS yesterday. My question is, should I wait to purchase vbseo until at least a few weeks after my vb forum is up and running? or it's more advantageous to install vbseo right now since I am starting everything from scratch?

With little to no content, you won't be harnessing the full power of vBSEO but I'd start off now so that all of your URLs don't have to be re-indexed later when they change with vBSEO.

You'll also see your new content better represented to the major search engines with vBSEO's other features.

Starting from day 1 is always the best. You won't ever under-go a re-indexing process ever-- you will START with good urls from day 1.

Makes sense, especially if I need to get vbseo sooner or later, so the sooner the better.

Could someone elaborate on the vbseo costs? all I can see from vbseo's website is $149, is it perpetual license like vBulletin forum that as long as I stay the current version, I don't have any additional cost? I saw some posts mentioned renewal and upgrade fee also, but didn't see it anywhere mentioned on vbseo site. Could someone give me a complete picture in terms of vbseo costs? thanks

$149 buys you the owned license, and updates/support for 1 year.
After that year is up, you can chose to pay the $35 renewal fee to re-gain access to new downloads and ticket support. If you chose not to, you can simply run your current version forever. This $35 fee is good for one full year.

I bought Vbseo for one forum but now I installed another forum in a new domain. Do you offer some discount for new license?
