In short are you stating that you suggest using Mod Rewrite? As many others that have talked SEO disagree with that option.
Thoughts?

Hi Patrick,
FYI Beyond our Custom Rewrite Rules, vBSEO does include URL rewriting (using mod_rewrite).
The biggest advantage of doing so is for link consistency and consensus. I recommend you check out this thread:
Pin the Tail on the SEO Donkey (with Link Consensus)!
Read that thread already.
Aside from that, when we installed Zoints we did not use mod rewrite function, so I can't I just delete, or uninstall and install vbseo in it's place? Without further erasing of Zoints stuff?
If you're not using the URL rewriting, then you don't have to worry about any 301 redirecting from Zoints to the new format, since you are still using default vBulletin URLs.
However, if you're going to use vBSEO, then you should just un-install Zoints to avoid any conflicts.
Yeah no prob on the uninstall. I'm gonna talk to my coder first and see what he says but you certainly have my vote on the issue.
Aside from that, the "support tickets", is support at no cost or are we charged for support?
I have never been charged for any support, and I have had loads.
Remember though when you buy vBSEO the licence is a one off fee with 12 months of updates / new versions. After the 12 months is up, you will have to renew your download access to receive new versions.
$149 for a great product is well worth it, and if you are really serious about SEO, then the $30 (I think it is) afterwards is a bargain for receiving newer versions, continued support etc.
I have one final question, unless my coder has any.
Do you also offer support for the vbseo sitemap generator that a member from this site created and posted at vbulletin.org?
My Coders Question:
He would like this clarified from you prior to us purchasing.

SEO stands for "Search Engine Optimization". As an extremely basis summary, this involves changing various aspects of your website, individual pages, along with the linking structure within and external to the site.
The goal is to get the various search engines (with a focus on the major engines) to 1) find or "crawl" your content, 2) include the content in its search index, and 3) rank it more highly for various keyword phrases.
The ultimate desired outcome is getting more visitors from the search engines to land at your site.
From what I read in the thread you linked, I think your programmer could use a solid overview on SEO. I recommend investing in the following eBook:

I'm sorry, my question was missed, I think the answer is yes, but where on this forum do we ask for help for the Sitemap?
Do you also offer support for the vbseo sitemap generator that a member from this site created and posted at vbulletin.org?
Thanks
