I heard alot of good things about this service and I am interesed in buying. However, I would like to ask a few questions beforehand. I have no prior knowledge of how SEO works but I do realize the importance of it.

vBSEO will definitely help your forum with SEO. And more traffic = more members. However, please keep in mind that you have to be proactive about other marketing aspects as well.

As anyone will tell you here, having great content is very important. Not only for the search engines, but also to ensure that those visitors have a reason to convert to members once they arrive.

Your forum is new, which is a great time to install vBSEO. In your case, you do not have to wait for a re-indexing process.

One thing to note is that you should start building backlinks to your site ASAP. There are a variety of methods to do so, including anything from signature links in other forums to directory submissions to link exchanges to paid links or vBSEO's pingback/trackback features.

Building relevant inbound and outbound links will help you build some Google PageRank and accelerate your indexing.

I would recommend that you start by installing vBSEO and our sitemap generator, and then make it a priority to start building links.
