    Question Ohoh! Test result confusing!

Ohoh! Having just bought thru PayPal, I downloaded the test file and uploaded to the server. I've got a very confusing result. Boils down to a Yes for Zend, a No for ionCube and then a warning about server change that says it could not find Zend? Weird or what? Has to be something I've done wrong, surely?

Am I gunna be OK to run vBSEO on my server or not? Any useful comment would be appreciated please.

I checked my server and Zend Optimizer is installed and enabled. Below is the test result as it came out:

    Testing Server...

    Zend Optimizer Yes
Ioncube No The setting of extension_dir in the php.ini file is not a directory or may not exist and run time loading will not be possible. You do not need write permissions on the extension_dir but for run-time loading to work a path from the extensions directory to wherever the Loader is installed must exist.

    Server Changes Possibly Needed
This test script was unable to find Zend Optimizer on your server and was unable to successfully run Ioncube. Suggestions and install instructions are to the right of both Zend Optimizer and Ioncube above.

    Hello Jeannette,

sometimes the test script works inconsistently and needs refinements. Could you please PM me the URL of your test script so that I can check if everything is fine inyour case?

It seems to be ok, zend version should work in your case. However, I suggest to increase the memory_limit setting in php.ini (currently it is set to 8M and sometimes it is not enough for encoding libraries).

Oh boy! Thanx Oleg. Much obliged to you. And now you have given me yet another reason to go to my host and find out how to do what you suggest. I think they are beginning to wish I'd go somewhere else.

Very kind of you to help.
