non english characters

hello

i heard a lot about vbSEO and now i need to know only one guestion befor i will buy this product

how is dealing with non english character .... vbseo removes character or is there any way that we can replace it?

Welcome aboard!

vBSEO has a special option "Replace Non-English Characters in URLs" that performs replacements for many "special" characters to the "english" ones with similar look.

Moreover, the next vBSEO release (2.3.3) will allow you to define additional replacments for the characters that are not replaced by default.

Custom Rewrite Rules perform translation from original URLs to the SEO alternatives, so it doesn't allow to include the title when it is not included in source URL.
So, modification to the corresponding side hacks code will be required to achieve this.

ok i ordered it .... one more question can i install this on testvb.domain.com coz vbulletin said i can put forum on testvb.domain.com under password

its just for testing the new stuff on it and if it works ok then i will move it to the live version

and i will report here how good is goin with the new forum with 0 post and vbadvanced and v3arcade installed

Yes you're allowed to install it on a test forum, but it has to be private.. exactly how vBulletin allow you to do it.

yes, you can install it on a separate instance (that is not accessible for normal users) for testing purposes.

Just to piggyback Oleg and state that there currently hasnt been an advent into the v3 Arcade code which would allow game names into the URL, currently all we can do is include game IDs to turn them into something like ./arcade/game15.html

yea i find the CRR so it looks like /forums/arcade/game/131.html ... i hope in the future will be game name in it .... tho i think this must be done from v3arcade team

im proud that i buy vbSEO .... still checking and discovering futures .... now i only need that i can replace a non english character to the right one for my language .... and then i will be satisfied 111%
