Their support is amazing once you are a customer and they've approved your website. I don't believe I've ever waited more than an hour to receive a response to a support issue I've had.

However, the pre-sales process takes time as they must ensure the sites content complies with the terms and conditions for obtaining a vbSEO license manually. It's not an automatic process where a script approves you and your website.

How did you send them a message, Kidder?

There are several alternatives for free on vBulletin.org. None even come close to the to the featureset of vBSEO. but it is well known that there are alternatives.

Well, I just bought the software about an hour or two ago. I really hope that Joe isn't on vacation. (At least not without access to the site here...lol) I was made to believe it would only take 12 hours at the most before I was able to download and install. I have Wednesday, Thursday and Friday to get this working and then I am back to my real job.

    Cheers,
    BD

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box. ...Hmmm? ;)

Your order (ID # 27979880915364804) was received on Jan 8 2007 at 3:48am AST. At 12:31pm of the same day your order was refunded due to non-compliance with vBSEO's Acceptable Usage Policy. The refund notification email was sent to the same email used to initiate payment via Paypal.

Please verify your junk email folder or spam filter for the associated incoming email or contact Paypal with the refund transaction ID # 9X444681AR610421K for more information.

To everyone else, all other purchases are current, my apologies for the delayed orders.

Yeah my query on what exactly did not comply was not addressed, I sent 2 PM's asking for clarification - I have over 50 sites that I manage directly or indirectly. They have a right to refuse supply but as a client I should be able to ask them "hey guys what exactly is the problem how can I make it right?" and expect some type of answer.

So this one site does not comply fair enough but I aksed the question for future reference or whatever. I did not expect to have to post on the forum to get their attention. However you look at it it's bad PR so I hope they correct it.

    From: vBSEO EULA

You may NOT use the software on any website that contains the following information:
    • info condoning or encouraging terrorism,
    • info promoting or facilitating piracy of intellectual property including software, digital audio and/or video, etc,
    • info promoting any form of illegal activity,
    • any type of material related to pornography, or
    • any type of material promoting racism.
Does your site fall into any of those categories?

Just so everyone knows, Juan (or someone in charge here) got my software download approved last night before midnight my time. I waited almost no time. I got the software installed, but and still working with the settings. Thanks for your help Juan.
