    Question 'newbbie' questions...

    hello,
I'm a [future ] owner of vbseo. Recently I know the misterious sitemap.xml and .gz...when I'm registering my sites in google. In fact [before I see, test and buy vbulletin.. I'm only use XOOPS system management. To make this sitemap i'm using SOFTplus GSiteCrawler (Johannes Mueller) [soft plus gsite crowler].
But I read a bit of vbseo and I'm very interested.
The questions - sorry the low level [beginner]:
    1. vbseo make the files necessary to google - sitemaps?
    2. this software is only to vbulletin or support another forum's systems and CMS?
    tks for your answers!
    My Best Regards

there is a mod at vbulletin.org that is vbseo sitemap.. it's not the same as the vbseo product, but made by the same ppl

and yes vbseo is vbulletin only CMS is a different story, as long as the CMS works with vb, then vbseo should be able to make pretty URL's

    yup, that's the mod

and don't let the phrase "installing mods" scare ya

they are pretty easy to install anymore.

but yes vbseo makes that sitemap and shares it for free. well free if you have a vbulletin license.
