Question New Forum for BeFit4Free.com Discount Supplements

Hey Guys,
I'm interested in starting a forum for www.BeFit4Free.com Discount Supplements.
I have a blog set up, and video section etc.

I am interested in launching a vBulletin forum but had some questions first.
If I'm going to do this, it has to produce enough traffic to justify whatever the investment is.

What do I need to do to get the most traffic?

I've seen:
  1. vBSEO
  2. vBstarter - forum starter packages
  3. vBulletin - Forum software
What else do I need to get this going? And what will this all cost?
Also can I have it hosted in a sub-domain? Ex: Discount Bodybuilding - Weight Loss Supplements or http://forum.befit4free.com ???

And, can I use avatars and let members post their own pics?

vBulletin + vBSEO is the right combination to get off to a successful start from an SEO standpoint. However, you still have to stay proactive with the promotion of your forum, adding new content, and keeping your community thriving.

We're very flexible on how you can configure your site. I think running your forum right from your main domain is a great option.

Question Major Problem???

Okay,
I just bought vBulletin, and I may have a problem:
There is no way to access my FTP / MySql log in, and my hosting company doesn't allow FTP access.
I will have to have them install it in a frame-set. Is that bad for SEO / should I host on the GoDaddy Hosting plan I own also?
This needs to be able to have everything indexed by Google, and I know that frames are bad for that.

If you have no FTP access with your current host. I would change to a new one!

How do you upload your site? Some kind of file management tool I suppose?

You should probably consider switching. I replied to your post in the hosting survey thread.

BeFit4Free.net is up and running! Can you look at it for me?

I need someone to review my site and give me ideas / advice. I like the way it looks, but should I make it look more like: Discount Bodybuilding - Weight Loss Supplements ?
Any suggestions for SEO?
