    Need More Information

    Hi,

    I'm trying to understand more about vbseo before I go ahead as I need to decide whether it will help me & also understand exactly what the product can do & the best way to configure it.

    I am really surprised that for a paid product there is no user guide or list/explanation of the features. I've signed up for the demo & looked through the massive list of configurable settings but am finding this very hard going. How do I decide how best to configure it when there are so many options? I've been reading one of the threads in this pre-sales forum, followed a link to an article & then had no permission as I wasn't yet a customer. I really cannot make these decision without more info. Does it exist?

    Hi Zelda,

    vBSEO is a product of Crawlability. Perhaps what you are looking for in terms of a basic overview is at the parent site,
    vBulletin SEO: The vBSEO Solution

    @what's best?

    There's no solid 'this is right, and that is wrong'. SEO is an ever-changing event. There is no right answer, which is why there are options. All are aimed at helping your SEO, but personal preference also comes into play as well.

    The team here is more than willing to help those non experienced in SEO aspects, and I know I and many others would even consider giving you our settings XML to start with if you're not remotely comfortable picking through them.

    Yes, it's slightly overwhelming at first. but, the only thing you HAVE to do after install is save your license key. Everything else runs its default option just fine.

    Hi Zelda,

    Our default installation is often more than you need. However, here is a thread that I recommend for all new users that gives some insights into not only specific vBSEO features to use, but also some general tips:
    Your Site Review - Stuff to Do First

    You can also see our complete feature list within the demo:

    Here is also a slightly outdated, but interesting article created as a guide by one of our customers and active community members:
