    I suggest installing in root.

Unless your site is a product/etc and the forums support said product, putting it in root is best.
If however you have Joes Widgets, and your forum is a support for for joes widgets, then i would suggest putting it in the forums/ directory.

vbseo supports all known mods. There are no conflicts with mods, as all it does is re-write links. vbseo can actually enhance mods with its custom rewrite rule areas.

    We have customers on dreamhost.

ASmallOrange.com is another highly recommended hosting solution.

You are not showing up as a vBSEO user. Please send me your forum URL and order #.

By the way, you should ensure that DreamHost is allowing Googlebot to visit your site:

    Hi Rajathe,

I thought you said that you had installed?

However, I am not certainly not annoyed. Sorry if it appeared that way.

Whenever we see a post that looks like someone is not listed as a customer, we try to fix their records. It is usually an error on our part. We want to correct that so that we can ensure that everyone has access to our Priority Support Ticketing System.

Let us know if you need any more help before getting vBSEO-enabled.

With the googlebot being blocked, it will greatly effect your SE traffic because it will not allow google to index your website .
