    MySQL Local or Remote for vBulletin and vbseo

    Hi there,

    I am a customer of vbseo, and well we are doing few things to imporve our speed due or great results with vbseo.

    I have a question...

    What is best for vB have the mysql local (in the same server with the httpd server) or use an other machine to access the database.

    There is no easy answer for this question as the answer depends on many different things . If you can answer the following questions i'll be glad to suggest you more.

    What is your current server configuration ( Cpu - Ram - Hdd )
    How many forums do you have on this server
    A phpinfo file link
    Online user + guest count average on all your forums with 15 min cookie timeout

    Thank you Mert. I sent you a PM with all the information. We are having issues because the load of the server sometimes reach he 30% and all it is very slow. We want to see if we migrate to nginx or any other stuff that give us more performance than apache. And we want to know if we need another server to run the mysql.
