    Links Anchor Text Replacement?

    Hi guys,

    I used vbSEO on my 3.8 forum but to be honest, I never noticed a difference I was looking for so didn't bother upgrading when I upgraded to 4.0+. In fact, the upgrade to the vBulletin 4 series without vbSEO wielded greater results, (a search for 'Everton forum' now lifted my forum to top/second as oppose to the constant fifth I had with 3.8/vbseo...)

    Anyway, I recently came across a modification called 'AutoLinker Lite' on vbulletin.org;

    It allows the webmaster to configure particular words or phrases as keywords, which will then be automatically linked when they appear in user posts.
    A comment to this modification said it's a feature on vbSEO? - Is this what 'Links Anchor Text Replacement?' is?

    Basically, I just want certain words to prompt the user back to the main website. So a football player is 'Arteta'. Any mention of 'Arteta' in the forum, I'd like a user to roll their cursor over any 'Arteta' word and be prompted with his respective player profile link on the homepage. The same with affiliate links etc.

    Is this feature available on vbSEO? If so, I'd upgrade my license.

    Lastly, is there any chance using vbSEO on my vBulletin 4 forum could actually prove to be to a detriment of my search engine rankings?

    Excuse my scepticism as no doubt your product is fantastic for most, a friend swears by it, but you must appreciate that I witnessed massive improvements since leaving 3.8/vbseo and upgrading to the 4 series without vbseo.

    Yes, you can do this using the acronym expansion feature.

    ie,

    Code:
    'js' => 'http://www.javascript.com'
    We always recommend our product over built in vb. We have many more features that they don't offer.
