| license for test system
Hi, I have now signed up & can see the license for my live forum under downloads. However I want to try out the settings on my testvb forum first. I have raised a ticket & been told that the license has for the test forum been added but I cannot see anything different in download. If I do an install how do I distinguish between the two installs? Will I get different license numbers? I was happening to test this out today (it is 1 pm in the UK) but don't want to mess anything up. Thanks.       |

You should open a support ticket to request adding your testing instance URL to the license. Then you should be able to install the same vBSEO package there and it will automatically retrieve own license key.

As mentioned above I DID already open a support ticket & received a reply saying that my test URL had been added. I just wondered whether I should see any change on the download screen as it only shows one license for my live forum. I did respond to the ticket this morning & ask this question but no-one replied yet which is why I posted to the forum. |

I have just tried to install it on the test system anyway & there is no license code. I get "Your current key: Open a support ticket or contact licenses@crawlability.com" so I don't think it has been set up even though the support ticket said it was there. Help Please! Possibly your testing instance doesn't allow outgoing http connections, so vBSEO cannot retrieve the license key automatically. I've posted the key in your ticket.
