License Terms

Hi,
I am considering purchasing the full version of VBSEO, but want to clarify the license details. At the bottomof the purchase page, in relation to the custom rewrite mdule, it says "i.e. during your 1-year vBSEO license period".

Is this 1 year of updates or 1 year of use ? ie. at the end of the year, if I choose not to renew the license, can I continue to use the software ? Or will I lose the right to use it at the end of the year ?

I am currently assuming it will be a vbulletin style license in that I just don't get updates at the end of the first year, but could you confirm that this is the case ?

Thanks

We will reword that statement for clarity purposes... You own your copy of vBSEO & the Custom Rewrite Rules Module. As such, you can use it indefinitely.

The "1-year vBSEO license period" means that you are entitled to 1 year upgrades from the day of purchase (just like with vB) - you won't loose the right to use it after the end of the year.

Confirmed, that's how it works

I didn't see the pricing after clicking Buy vBSEO 2.0 Gold. You may want to make it more visible. I did however click through as though I was going to purchase and saw the pricing. Is the price really $149.00 U.S. including 1 year of upgrades? That seems a little to close VB itself at $160 (or just $85 for VB for a year lease including a year of upgrades).

What will the renewal pricing be to continue to get upgrades after one year for vbseo?

On another question, does vbSEO change any of the VB code with 3.5...is it just a plug in with 3.5? If I ever wanted to uninstall it, does it revert VB back to the way it was before installation including reverting back all the urls?

Thanks. Sounds like you have a great product.

Yes, the purchase page was posted as a temporary solution. The real members area will include all the pre-purchase details, faq, price, etc.

US$35

Yes, vBSEO is installed/uninstalled via the plugin system in vB 3.5. One additional step *must* be completed while uninstalling and that is removing (or commenting) the .htaccess directives from your .htaccess file.

Thank-you
