or can a redirect be accomplished with them all.

Sorry this got taken way off topic.
Its a different question than mod incompatabilities.

The redirects will always let the search engines know where to find the content, by informing them of the correct location.

How long has the forum been vBulletin?

Was it originally phpBB, and in the current path?

So you have had /phpbb/ as your /forum/ path all the time that the forum has been running vBulletin?

You could easily achieve a 301 redirect to a new /path/ name.

The problem would have been more relevant if you had recently switched to vB, as none of the threadids would have been the same.

    Yes.

I was told by one person if it aint broke dont fix it but i definately see the need to get more exposure with the vb threads.
The site allready has nice a position in ranking for relevant keywords. I wouldnt want to mess with that. but the forum has the potential to really explode.
Im just not technical enough to move the forums into a different directory and redirecting the URLs.
I will have to find someone who can guide me or pay some one.

I took a look at your site. Our 301 redirects (with vBSEO) will be applied to all of your URLs.

So you might as well get rid of the phpBB forum sub-directory at the same time. In fact, you might consider moving your forum directly into the root.

Just thought I would clarify and explain what a 301 is.

Links coming in, and links in Search Engines will be automatically redirected to the new vBSEO'ed thread, and be told that it has been Permanently Moved to the new location.
