I've yet to see one add on that didn't work with vbseo.

Re-wrting the pages is a different topic, but it will work fine with the standard product url's.

Yes thank You. Im sure can handle uploading and configuring files and the cp defaults. I wonder if i cant install this and rewrite but I would have to know what it is i need to rewrite.
One more question if i may. Might this be a problem on a server that uses a cluster? I use mosso as my host / rackspace.

    1. Basic configuration of mod_rewrite or ISAPI_Rewrite (where possible only)

$79 bucks isnt a lot of money for someone else to do the rewrites unless they are ridiculously easy. and of course if they can be done.

No problem with clustering or multiple web servers... just need to upload the files more than once just like you would with vbulletin itself. if you have multiple databases, i'm not sure what the process is....

    Thanks Guys.
I spent some time here last night looking at the demo and other stuff.
Ill think Ill pull the trigger and have you guys do it.
I have to re look at some stuff like where the htacces file goes, in its own seo directory or the root or forum directories? I wouldnt want to overwrite anything Ive done before.
Im also trying to understand what exactly are the rewrites.
After its done ill kick myself and realize i could have done it myself. Knowledge is power.

Glad to have you aboard. Our vBSEO Total Support Team will be able to handle it for you, and you won't have to worry about any of the technical details.

Your htaccess file would go into your forum root directory.

The rewrites are basically what adds keywords into your forum URLs instead of the old ones that include .php at the end with a bunch of data. This is one step in what vBSEO does to establish total link consensus, a vital SEO factor.

    Just one more dumb question.
When i migrated from phpBb2 to Vbulletin I left the url ending as phpBB2 rather than vb or forum.
This i doubt would present any problems with the scripts seeing phpBB2 url endings?
I left it that way as what id hoped would be an added security thing.

you mean you have site.com/phpbb2/ as your forums?

I'd change it out for sure.

and yes, you can post links here, as long as they are related to the topic/question aren't aren't trying to sell me a cell phone or pills

Yes this is the url path to all the forum links. Stripers247.com Forums
    or without the www

wouldnt it be quite difficult to change it?

I have well over 60 Mods from vBORG and im running VBSEO

The only one that didnt work was DDDS and VBSEO Support accomplished the same thing that mod did with 2 lines of code via .htaccess and its made that mod obsolete

VBSEO is a No Brainer !

they aren't a problem for vbseo itself... but it may be an 'seo problem' as a whole.

You're going to get entirely re-indexed anyway.... might as well do it now.

change it to /forums, /boards, or whatever else you may seem to be relevant for your niche (/fishtalk, /community/ etc etc)
