I put this message in the Pre-Sales Questions because the use of what I bought did not arrive yet. Please help:

Been used to well packaged and guided open source packages, I became very desapointed, just minutes ago when I tried intall.

I went into the admin pannel loaded up the files and pressed install. Since than, my hole forum collapsed and went down, all online users got probaly "No Zend whatsoever Error Messages" linke me. The most best part is, that I could not unistall the package because the adminpannel went down with it.

What I am missing in the install instructions:

1. Be carefull: you need the Zend Optimizer otherwise your hole page will go down.
2. You can upload files binary by changing the upload modus in your ftp software manual, you might have an automted detection that could upload the files ASCI which will not work!
3. You should now switch off your Board because you might experice some problems or might want to set the right folders in the htaccess file.

Please answer me the following questions:
1. As I am useing SmartFTP and down´t know where to switch, ok we found the option ourself, but thank you.
2. The Zend Optimizer is as I see ment to protect copyrighted code (YOURS) and minimise the serverload or maximise php performance, as I understand I can´t even install this myself. Do I need Root access, I have managed server and the provider has the only root access and gets paid for beeing responsible. This would mean that your solution is much more expensive than I could have thought right from the beginning because I will have to pay the provider to install the Zent Optimizer, which version by the way for a Linux System with

I am sure you have a good product, and while the packageing might not be sutable for me, the software might just be a great hit, this is why I have bought it.

No I deinstalled the broken system, again there was no uninstall help, by deleting all files munaly, running the cp again and deinstalling the vbseo with the again working system.

Actually I want to forward them only if they are belonging to a forum or thread that has acutally moved to the new domain, while as some others will stay behind.

Aditionaly I want to optimise the new forum under newsolutions.de for which I own the licence and lay the fortunes of my marketing luck into your hands. Within days my page will aproximatly becoma a 6 Pagerank until than I wanted to be finished.


Please help me throu with this quick, so I can call my provider and make him install zend optiwhatnot in this workingday to be goint to night. Actually It is 4 pm here in Germany, two hours still to go.

I will appreciate your help by buing another lizenz for the other forum rlpforen in order to optimise it when I see some return on this investment!

Old vBulletin URLs (on the same domain) are automatically 301-redirected to new SEOed URLs.

Aditionaly I want to optimise the new forum under newsolutions.de for which I own the licence and lay the fortunes of my marketing luck into your hands.

Default vBSEO settings are fine in most cases, but you can select alternative URL formats from the presets list provided in vbseocp (make sure to stick with selected url formats though and do not change it further).

2. What do I do with the moved threads and forums in the old forum in order to only them redirect to the new domain, installation and the new vBulletin & vbSeo lizenzes. Is that possible? Is one lizenz suffisiont?

a) about 40 Forums and its threads stay behind with the old vB non branding lizenz,
b) while there will be about 20 Forums that move to the new lizenzes and installation. I wanted the threads 301 google save forwarded depending on the forum they are in. Is this possible. Do I need for that reasen 2 lizenzes of vBSEO? Because there is only one forum involved, the new namely.

Actually I did not download the package myself, I startet working with the install instructions in readme.html as the first workingstep.

Actually my provider will do the installation of the ZEND Optimizer and I told them to install the debian version because of debian OS on the server and obove Version 2. Is that all right?

You will be able to redirect them, but you will have to create one RewriteRule per URL to move them to a new domain.

a) your software is damm easy to use and quite brilliantly done, cant see the code because of your copyright stuff but the result seems to be excellent!!!

As I said before: Out of one forum grew two, of which one stayed behind and one moved to a new domain. The part of the original forum, that is moveing is distinguishable by forum id (vBulletin).

I solved out a way, compatible with vBulletin 3.64 which sends 301 redirects headers with php, so the moved entries are forwarded into the new forum on the new domain while the other forums which stay behind are not atached at all.

Only three copy past in three files are necessary / no mod rewrite coding was necessary at all.
