Interested in purchasing vBSEO but few questions.

Hello, I was told by a friend that vBSEO is the way to go to make my site gain more traffic. I've been debating the purchase of this for a few weeks but decided I would look more into it. I DO want to purchase this but I have a few questions before.

First, the installation. How complex is it? Is it difficult? Once installed how easy is it from there to get things going?

I'm a website owner who is at the very least - a newbie website owner.

I am also the newest vbseo customer, and let me tell you, it is just as easy as installing vbulletin itself.

And if you bump into any wall during the installation or post-installation, vbseo has a very nice community of developers ready to help with optimization....They even have a "how-to" series of posts.

The installation is quite easy. And can take anywhere from 2-10 minutes.

    - Upload vbseo files
    - Upload .htaccess file (or edit it, if you already have one)
    - Import (upload) the product file via your vbulletin adminCP
    - Copy-paste the license key inside your vbseo control panel

The default settings of vbseo are just fine. But you can tweak them to your own liking, too.
Lots of tips, How-To's and guidelines are available in the Forum.

    Far easier, IMO

Does it create a section in the adminCP?

Yes. You still have to remember one more password though.

This password has to be memorable to you only. You don't want anyone else through that SEO backend.

Sitemaps has the same, but the only difference is that, you can go to the other sitemap "Control Panel" and grab the password. In case you forget.

Yes, it is accessible via the AdminCP.
Though, technically, vbseocp a separate control panel having it's own password.

I'd suggest you to signup for the vbseo demo [free], at : https://www.vbseo.com/demo/

I will def do the demo. Oh the other question. When you sign up you have to tie your license with your website. Would this be the address tot he forums? or the main site itself?

Hm. Im pretty sure Im getting this. Just to clarify before I do purchase....

    I use :
    BlackberryOS.com - Powered by vBulletin
    instead of
    BlackberryOS
when it comes to entering my URL for the license?

And I can just install vbseo and the default settings will be ok and help me draw more traffic and help with search engines?

Yep, you'll enter the first URI (http://www.blackberryos.com/forums/)

And after the purchase, you can open a critique / review request thread in this Forum : vBulletin SEO Discussion - Critique Please at vBSEO.com so we fellow members and/or vbseo staff can give you tips on further optimizing your board.
