    Installing vbSEO and other add-ons

    Hello,

I'm setting up my site again with vB 3.6.1 vBAdvanced CMPS, GARS (by thevbGeek) a download module (yet to choose possable Downloads II: DownloadsII - vBulletin.org Forum) as major add-ons vBA links and Photopost will also be installed. To finish the site I'll have to write a few minor add-ons myself.

Now vbSEO sounds very interesting. But I am curious about how it works together with all these add-ons.
Are there any conflicts to be expected?
Wil vbSEO be able to cooperate with at least GARS and the download module?
Is there a preferred order of installing vbSEO and the other modules?

    Hi Arjan,

Welcome to vBSEO.com, and thank you for asking these questions.

vBSEO works perfectly with GARS and vBACMPS. I run both on two of my sites, in my signature.

vBACMPS requires some additional work, namely - an .htaccess file in your vbacmps directory if it is above the forums, and some Custom Rewrite Rules.

I am running a couple of products by theGeek - Geeker (mini shopping module) and its big brother, GeekMart. They work fine. I see no real reason why the Downloads mod would have any problems.

You can install the modifications in any order.

Is there any documentation available on what the htaccess file should contain and the other additional work that should be done?

EDIT: In my 3.0.x version I edited many vBulletin files to have the forums also show the left column of CMPS.
    Does this affect vBSEO?

Indeed there is, in the Custom Rewrite Rule forum, that is available to all Customers.
