I see that vbulletin is coming out with 4.0 which will have SEO features. I'm wondering if I should install vbseo on my 3.8.2 version vbulletin or if I should wait for vbulletin 4 to have that SEO.
What are your thoughts on this?
Thanks.

My thoughts personally: Look how vbulletin does on new features they implement. Groups, albums, profiles, etc. The apple does not fall far from the tree.

You should definitely go with vBSEO. vBulletin's SEO features, while extremely important to awaken the entire community to the need for better SEO, are basic. vBSEO will remain the must-have SEO solution to max our your forum.

VBSEO value proposition ?
give me reason to buy
What would VBSEO do when the Vbulletin 4 version is released?
Are you guys planning to keep on developing VbSEO to make it always compatible with Vbulletin latest releases?
I've been wanting to buy VBSEO and VBulletin for quite some time, even didn't take any action when VBSEO was on specials the other day as I noticed that VBulletin 4 is going to be released soon, therefore it makes me think that I should wait.
There's completely different coding in Vbulletin 4+ than the previous versions, and this is what worries me about VBSEO integration with the VBulletin 4+
Hello Irwin,
vBSEO will be making a new version to be compatible with vBulletin 4.

Yes, vBSEO 3.5 will be fully compatible with the vBulletin 4 series. Of course, we'll not only be compatible... we're ensuring that 3.5 once again surprises customers with it's solid new features. I can tell you that vBSEO 3.5 is going to be the most "dramatic" new version we've ever produced!
By the way, vBSEO 3.5 will definitely be compatible with vBulletin 4. We are aware that there is going to be some level of code re-factoring done, and we're prepared to make any tweaks necessary to keep them working seamlessly together. In fact, with improved vB4 code, it's possible we may be able to make even more gains in performance optimization.
That's good to hear Michael.
Do you guys have any idea how this will be accomplished? Here is my concern. If you buy now and convert your existing URLs into vbseo urls, then you basically will need to turn off many of the vbulletin 4.0 seo features and hope for compatibility. Do you guys know what is happening over at vbulletin and have a plan for your own release? They talk about Q2 and we are already there. If it's Q3 that is only 50 days away. Would enjoy hearing your thoughts.
vbseo will over-ride (and improve upon) any 'seo' urls vBulletin is planning to release.
My understanding is that the seo features of vb4 will be optional, thus, they should be simply turned off, and then vbseo applied.
vBulletin's SEO features are minimal at best. vbseo is still THE solution if you care about seo for your forum.
