    Hello Elisha ,

If you will not seperate your forum from homepage you should install your forum at forum root

In order to use vBSEO you must have vbulletin installed and running.

Unfortunately we donot offer vBulletin installation service but you can hire someone to do that for you from vb.org or any other similar site.

    Hi,

I would like to set up a forum in my website. Haven't buy the vBulletin yet.

The reason is I don't know where my forum should put in the domain. Should it be forums.domain.com or domain.com/forums ?

My main page is blog using wordpress.

Can you please teach me how? If possible can explain to me more detail? I never use vBulletin before. Is it easy to install?

    Thanks!

    Thanks Brian,

What's the difference of forums and forum? Some people put the former and the other put the later.

    What makes the difference actually?

forums and forum makes no difference. It is just a personal choice. I also agree with Brian about the setup. try avoiding subdomains as much as you can

    no difference IMO.

forum, forums, board, boards, talk, etc etc all mean the same thing to just about everyone.

    Ok. Thanks!

But I see some of the successful example like digitalpoint.com they are using forums.digitalpoint.com as the subdomain.

I'm going to get the vBulletin and VBSEO very soon!

Hope you guys can help out if there's anything wrong in the process.....

yes, but digitalpoint.com is a WHOLE seperate application.

they have tools, etc etc as their main site, and their forums are a seperate app from all of that more or less.

Plus, digital point is HUGE. They may REQUIRE a seperate server for it, and the easiest way to point to a new IP is with a subdomain.

    Thanks Brian for the explanation!

By the way, I'm using HostMonster as hosting. Any problem with that?
