If you are seeing that from within your Google Webmaster Control Panel, I can tell you that it is inaccurate. Google will be crawling your site most times, even when this date has not been updated.

If you find some threads that were recently created, and search for their titles you will probably see that they have already been indexed, even if it reports that Google has not been around in a while.

Try doing that and let us know what you see.

Some stats programs like AwStats will also give you a list of search bots that have crawled your site, how much content they crawled, and when was the last accurate date of crawl. If you have that one available in your web hosting account, check it out.
