Provider in vb. Either the built in one, or custom versions of pulling threads to display on other pages of the site. Does anyone who uses this product have any experience with this? Thanks.

    Hi JP,

There are no negative effects to your RSS feeds with vBSEO installed - in fact, you can apply Custom Rewrite Rules to external.php to have these links CRU'ed.

Thank you, outstanding news (and response time!). So the pulled thread links would display elsewhere in static html form or the dynamic form, or whichever we choose?

Exactly, the links would display however they were set when retrieved.. changing the structure later doesn't retrospectively update them.

Ok while I'm on a roll here, we use vbAdvanced for the front page of some of our forum sites. Any known issues with that and vbSEO? I did search the forum but didn't find anything damning.

That would be because there is nothing damning.

All of my sites use vBACMPS and vBSEO. There is a slight change you have to make if you have integrated your vBACMPS throughout the forums as well, but I don't do that on any of my sites.

Thanks, it's looking good. May be a number of purchases coming from us soon. We're a corporation so I have to push it through channels, but looks very promising, and thank you for the prompt polite replies.

My boss asked an interesting question about this. What happens with already indexed dynamic thread titles? I mean if your site is already indexed and you rewrite the url, what happens to all those referrers? Will they all be broken?

Thank you, so it wouldn't hurt our existing SE rankings. That's crucial for us. Thanks again.
