I just received a very poor reply to my helpdesk support ticket.

    Hi

Yesterday I submitted a helpdesk support ticket with 6 very specific questions. The reply I got was shockingly inadequate. The reply from Cem Kümük was "vBSEO 3.0.0 series are not supported anymore and reached EOL long time ago. You should upgrade asap."

I've tried calling and it only goes to voicemail.

I've tried the "chat with sales" but I get this error message: "Your request could not be completed, as the account you are attempting to reach is no longer active."

Can someone please address the questions below as my server migration is depending on it.

I need to upgrade my vBSEO software but I have a few questions first.

I'm upgrading my server from PHP 5.2 to 5.3. I'm running version 3.0.0 of vBSEO. I'm running into problems with the Zend loader/optimizer compatibility between the 2 different versions of PHP. My environment details follow below:

    1. Is Zend still a requirement to run vBSEO?
    2. Given my current environment, which version of vbSEO should I upgrade to?
    3. If I upgrade to newest version of vBSEO, will that run on my current AND new server?
    4. If I upgrade to newest version of vBSEO, will that run on vBulletin 3.6.8
    5. Which vbSEO version should I upgrade to as there are 4 options (3.5.0 or 3.5.1 or 3.5.2 or 3.6.0)?
    6. How long does the upgrade service take?

    CURRENT SERVER
    ####################
    vBulletin: 3.6.8 (Patch Level 2)
    vBSEO: 3.0.0
    PHP: 5.2.17
    MySQL: 5.0.92
    Zend: enabled

    NEW SERVER
    ####################
    vBulletin: 3.6.8 (Patch Level 2)
    PHP: 5.3.16
    MySQL: 5.0.92
    Zend Guard Loader: enabled

    Thanks,
    Eric

That answer is correct, even in the context of your 6 questions.

Yes. Just use the vBSEO for vBulletin version 3.x installer.

Duplicate of question 2: Upgrade to the latest version, 3.60.

If you are upgrading yourself, a matter of minutes. If you're asking vBSEO or someone else to do it for you, it will take longer obviously, depending on how busy they are. But the upgrade is simple.

    Hi Guys,

It's because of the forums, people allowed to post here aren't verified vBSEO owners, as it's a pre-sales forum, so that's why you see no-bbcodes here.
