    Lightbulb I am sold but....

OK, my mind is a buzz with all this new information. Where have I been all these years??? I have had fun researching your product and reading all of your information. Great work.

Any way... you have just about sold me on your product but the price is mighty steep. Especially for my site which is a labor of love (a hobby). vBSEO costs as much as vBulletin itself!

I will be honest with you.... my guess is you would make more money if you priced your software a bit lower. I would probably buy it for all my vBulletin sites (my client sites) if it were in the sub hundred dollar zone. But at this price I am not sure I will be able to buy it for any of my sites.

    Just my two cents.

Thanks for your feedback. There are currently no plans for any additional discounts or price reductions.

    yea same here

how about offering an "installment plan" where the person can pay per month like 30 bucks a month...only difference is the software would cost like 30 bucks more or so

    Hi Aku,

We do not have plans to launch an installment pricing structure.

I too think the price of vBSEO should be lowered. It would most likely attract more customers anyway.

To be honest, I have not noticed THAT much difference since using vBSEO. If it was priced lower, I may have considered using it on my other sites. But for the moment, the benefits don't outweigh the cost. (From my personal experience anyway)

well its up to the authors in the end really

As for me Im happy my pagerank is already 3 without seo and member numbers are pretty high too

the only thing that I suffer from which I doubt even seo will be able to help with is: active members.

    Hi Aku,

You can do much better with PageRank on all pages, if you eliminate linking inconsistency, boost link consensus, and remove duplicate paths to the same content.

Believe it or not, effective SEO does in fact lead to more active members.

Let's consider only two of many factors that lead to active members:

    1. Good/targeted content

It is the vBSEO goal to not only deliver *traffic*, but instead *targeted traffic*. The more targeted your traffic is, the more likely the arriving web visitors will join your community, participate, and post more frequently.

It's the quality vs. quantity factor. Although SEO will help you build *more traffic*, it's goal is also to build *more targeted traffic*.

    2. Active *community*

In general, a visiting user is more likely to stay and participate in a community that is active. As SEO delivers more traffic, even occasional posters will help to build up your overall forum activity. This is much more compelling to those users who are active posters, and simply need to be shown that your forum is a great place for them to contribute.
