Is htaccess not affect apache load ? عربي

i read befor that using htaccess alot can affect server speed, is this right ?

How is your server performance right now?

FYI I would only expect to see a visible impact if your server is already running at or near its full capacity.

Many large and active forums run successfully run vBSEO with little to no significant performance impact.

my server seems to be loaded , but i don't think it is real load but maybe something related to hardware or software.

but is it helpfull ti edit httpd.conf and add the lines that on the .htaccess to config file ?
