How easy to use? Do I need to constantly tweak settings?

    Hi Everyone,

I'm seriously thinking of purchasing VBSEO for my forum. What is the learning curve of this software? Are maximum results able to be maintained with a minimal amount of tweaking, watching stats, posting questions on this forum on why this doesn't work/how do I make this work/how can I make this work better?

Looking for something I can install, fill in the name of my forum, maybe enter a setting or two and let 'er rip.

    Thanks,
    Art

Once you get your settings like you want them, you need to leave them alone. Constantly changing settings will only hurt you.

vBSEO works fine right out of the box; no need to change any settings.

After I install the program, what typically would I have to adjust?

Depends on what exactly you want

You might want a custom format for your URL's, might not want the social bookmarking icons in the postbit, might etc, etc..

I think the vbSEO defaults are pretty good though.

I've heard of IonCube, but as I mentioned, my account is on a semi-dedicated server, so I'm at the mercy of my provider for that sort of stuff. I'm assuming it's some sort of bandwidth optimizing program?

zend and ioncube are de-crypters. vBSEO code is encrypted to protect their product.

After I purchase and install the software, would it be possible to test out any appearance altering setting on a backup style? I mean so that I don't change the appearance of my default style and confuse all my members?
