How easy is this to implement?

Looking to buy VBSEO software preferably today, only been using vBulletin for 6 months and by no means an expert. I'm a little nervous about installing something I don't understand a great deal about.

Please can someone run me through the simple setup, where I install the code? What major issues can be a problem etc? How long will it take?

If I have to take the forum offline to install I would rather do it on a quiet day like today?

Installing vBSEO takes around 5 minutes. First you must make sure which version to use. You'll upload test.php to your server and found which version is suitable for your server. Then you will upload vBSEO files in binary mode to your server. Import vbseo product and configure your settings.


vBSEO license is valid forever however in order to download new versions you have to renew your license each year. Renewel fee is 35$ per year.

Thanks for the quick reply, unfortunately I'm a Mac user and only have access to a PC for today, if I can get ftp etc working ok on the pc I'll carry on if not I'll leave it until my Mac is up and running I'll be a bit more confident then.

Do I have to download and pay before the test or do I do the test file first?

You should download and install the Zend Encoded version of the software.

All licenses are activated manually. It may take up to 24 hours , once the activation process will complete , you'll receive an e-mail immediately.

Does that mean copy the files from the images folder in the download to the images folder of my VB and the admincp files from the download to the current admincp folder of my VB?

Yes, that is correct.

I can't see the Plugin System in my admincp?

Also all the images are missing in the forum sections, fine on the home page and thread just missing on the sections?
