Red face How is that Brand Free option coming along?

I know I am poking a stick at an old sore and that patience is a virtue... And that 10 options have been given on link and non-link copyright, but that main one that I need hasn't, Branding Free.

I read that 2.4.1 might contain the option but when will we know for sure so that I can install vbSEO on my forum.

    Sorry and thanks,
    Charles

We will know for sure when the version with Branding Free is actually released, not before.

...unless someone has a working Crystal Ball?

With all due respect, your answer is a bit lame.

Obviously the people working on Vbseo will know when the branding free version is going to be available prior to its release.

I was trying to make the point that, as with many software developers (vBulletin included), there are times when a definite release date cannot be provided, due to Marketing/Coding/whatever reasons.

The Team here are well aware that people want a Branding-free option.

They will announce it when it happens, not before.

We are focusing on the 2.4.1 release at the moment. However, the team has decided to make a brand free version available. The date has not be set. We will notify our members via an announcement as soon as it is determined.

If we purchase vBSEO now, will we be able to easily upgrade to the branding free option when it becomes available?

It would be helpful if we at least had some idea of a timeframe... this or next month, six months time?

I agree, would be great if I can buy the branding free option asap, before we use vbseo again on our new server!

    Please let us know

Personally the discussion of a branding free option has been traded around vBulletin related discussion boards since the origin of this product, i would probally expect that once the development of more sustainable vBSEO have been released that options such as Branding Free will be intergrated into the packages. But i wouldnt be surprised if this isnt high on their priority lists at the moment.

why not clear the confusion and just make it available asap?

What you (vbseo dev team) are doign is forcing your customers to brand you/link to you, and no consumer likes that, trust me I for one hate it very much.

remember that vbseo is a PLUGIN not an entire software package, it is an ADDON to vbulletin....for $160 you are already pushing it

I dont mean to be rude but eventually if this branding free option is not released I have no problem with telling you that I will (and yes I know how) remove it myself, why not get off your lorals and at least get paid for those who want branding-free

Oh! and just so you know, branding-free prices on most website software plugins run under or at $50, so please try not to rape us

    Thanks

Thank-you for your feedback. As stated, we do plan to make this available, but have not yet determined the release date.

All vBSEO users will be notified via an announcement when we have more information.

At present, as stated clearly in the license agreement, the copyright notice may not be removed.
