    Hi All, big question

Site is live, lots of content. Its pretty nitchy (tac L/E) Also have content in the pike (instructional videos, skype conferences, etc)

I am on a shared server with some room to spare.

Work isn't a problem, especially now I've got more time on my hands to do it. I'm wondering though will VBSEO work well with The VB CMS.

We have ALOT of articles. We also have guest authors, blogs, but no real forum presence currently. This is what we're really wanting to build as the site is pretty sticky in its own right.

I'm not a web guru by any means (I'm good with databases though) but, can learn the ins an outs of this stuff with a little help.

Is this thing easy enough to load? And about roughly how much time will I need to spend on getting it before it picks up traffic?

I am EXTREMELY motivated considering the work thats already went into the website, but wanted to know about ease of use with what I have.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

vbseo 3.5 works with the CMS in the same manner that it does on the forum. It has its own section for rewrite rules for forums, cms, and blog.

Installation takes less than 5 minuets for most new users (I can do it about 45 seconds flat ).
Configuration is fairly easy, as we include several pre-sets and default configuration out of the box. You can tweak to your hearts desire, but in general, one of our presets will work fine for you out of the box.

There's no set time when it will work. It's out of our hands. But, most customers see good results in about 3-5 weeks. Some much shorter, some much longer. It really all depends on how MUCH and how quality the content is. Content is still king. vbseo is simply a tool to help get it out there.

    Hi Brian and thanks.

I do know that we'll be making some changes to the site. from what I'm understanding thats not always a good thing for search engines. If say I add extra pages when we get more authors, is this going to affect us negatively?

I'm very glad to hear that it works with the suite.

Once I make the purchase I've no doubt I'll have more questions.

Oh one more question. when I try to purchase it asks what the forum address is. Do I need to give the forum or the actual CMS address?

    thanks!

You should direct the license to where most of your forum files sit.

As for the first question, Brian will be better to answer that.

The forum url must match where you will install vb (and thus, vbseo). ie, site.com or site.com/forums or forums.site.com or whatever matches your setup.

Adding urls/content is not an issue. It's MOVING content that is not recommended. "set it and forget it" is our saying for URL re-write settings, and the same applies for your installation. Think about what you want first, then do it and leave it that way forever.
